About

Architectural objects, finished with fire.

Ember & Oak is a small workshop in Lithuania creating timeless objects from solid European timber. We work with one technique, Shou Sugi Ban, and only with material we trust.

Our origin

A factory, not a brand factory.

Ember & Oak is the design house of MB "Inflamed", Europe's specialist in Shou Sugi Ban architectural cladding.

For years our workshop has supplied charred timber to architects across the continent. Ember & Oak distils that craftsmanship into a small collection of finished objects, direct from the factory floor to your home.

No middlemen. No mass production. No compromise on the wood.

See the process

Solid timber only

Never veneer, never plywood. We choose the slowest-grown European timber we can find.

One of one

Fire is unpredictable. No two pieces ever come out the same, and that is the point.

Built to outlast trends

Each object is finished by hand and designed to age, not date.
